Charlotte Bates (Ensemble) Charlotte Bates (ensemble) is a 6th grader who has previously performed in several upstate productions including as Marta in The Sound of Music (Anderson University), as Young Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde (Mill Town Players), as Matilda in Matilda the Musical (GCT), as Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical (Market Theatre), as Chip in Beauty and the Beast (CLT), and as Lulu in Waitress (Broadway Tour). She’s excited to be back onstage with The Market Theatre and hopes you enjoy The Music Man!
Lauren Brenk (Ensemble) This is Lauren's first full show with Market! With a life-long love of musical theater, she dove head first into this year's 24 Hour Musical after a huge push from her husband, Logan, and kids, Killian and Phoebe. In her normal life, Lauren is a registered nurse and aspiring yogi who is almost always listening to a Broadway Musicals Spotify playlist or true crime podcast.
Baxley Kate Brown (Gracie Shinn) A sixth grader at McCants Middle School, Baxley Kate is excited to be part of another production with Market Theatre. BK has appeared in Winnie the Pooh (Market Theatre), Elf Jr. (Project Challenge Playhouse), and Jingle Bell Jukebox (North Pointe Elementary). When she’s not onstage, you can find her dancing at ECDA, tumbling at Ignite, or hanging out with friends!
Leigh Burton (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn) is excited to be back performing at Market Theatre in this production of The Music Man. With a passion for education, Leigh is the assistant superintendent in Anderson School District Three. It is pure joy sharing the stage with such talented young people and watching them reach their potential and showcase their talents through the arts. Leigh recently appeared in Market’s production of Rock of Ages. Prior productions include Annie, Cinderella, Once Upon a Mattress (Queen Aggravain), Miracle on 34th Street, Girls of the Garden Club (Lillybelle), To Kill a Mockingbird (Adult Scout), Is There Life After High School?, and 1959 Pink Thunderbird/Laundry and Bourbon (Elizabeth). Leigh is thrilled to be part of this incredible production and is grateful for the support of the amazing cast, crew, and audience.
Mark Cawood (Constable Locke) has wanted to be the incredibly annoying “Whadyatalk” guy ever since he was eight years old, and he is excited to be part of this show! Favorite parts from previous shows include JD Drew (Hands on a Hard Body), Stephano (The Tempest), Harry Bright (Mamma Mia!), Panch (25th …Spelling Bee), and Mortimer (Fantasticks), all at the Market Theatre, and The Man in the Yellow Suit (Tuck Everlasting) at the Clemson Little Theatre. He is truly grateful to his wife and his two sons for all their love, support, and advice!
Christopher Clark (Ensemble) is excited to take the stage for another show at Market Theatre! Christopher lives in Greenville, SC, and enjoys dancing and traveling with his family. He has appeared in Market Theatre’s production of Kinky Boots as Young Lola and Electric City Playhouse’s production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as Ralph Herdman. Christopher hopes to continue acting on stage in future productions!
Victoria Cox (Mrs. Squires/Assistant Choreographer) is excited to end this Market Theatre season with The Music Man! This may not be her Market debut, but it is her debut as Assistant Choreographer!! Victoria has had such a wonderful and challenging experience stepping into this role, and she hopes to choreograph more in the future. She would like to thank her mom and her soon-to-be stepdad for always driving to see her on opening night and being her biggest supporters! She would also like to thank Mary Haley and the rest of the production team for giving her an opportunity to try something new! Victoria hopes you enjoy the show!
Tish Crittendon (Mrs. Paroo) is excited to join The Market Theatre once again! She was last seen as Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach in Carolina Wren Park this summer. Tish has been involved in theatre around Anderson for 17 years. Some favorite productions include The Wizard of Oz (Glinda) at ACT, Les Miserables (Ensemble) at CLT, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood (Friar Tuck) at ECP, and Mama Mia (Rosie) at The Market. Be-Gob and Be-Jabbers, she sure hopes you enjoy this production of The Music Man!
Julia Dixon (Ethel Toffelmier) Born and raised in Texas, Julia Dixon has had a passion for theater for many years. She moved to Abbeville, SC three years ago with her husband and has since performed in the Abbeville Opera House, Greenwood Community Theatre, and now Market Theatre. Her favorite roles have been Mrs. Cratchit (Scrooge the Musical, TX), Kate (Taming of the Shrew, GCT), and Mae (Tuck Everlasting, GCT), with Music Man sure to rank in her top shows. She looks forward to many more opportunities to be involved in future shows. Thank you for supporting the show and we hope you enjoy.
Ashley Dzvonik (Maud Dunlop) is thrilled to return to the stage in The Music Man alongside her husband, Joseph. A fourth-grade teacher by day, she has a passion for theatre that has followed her throughout her life. She was recently seen as a Bowery Beauty in Newsies (24 Hour Musical) and considers her high school role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Project Challenge Playhouse) to be one of her favorites. After taking a break to focus on college, Ashley is excited to rejoin the local theatre scene and continue her love of performing.
Joseph Dzvonik (Ensemble) is excited to make his stage debut in The Music Man. Though he took tap and ballet lessons as a child, this marks his first time performing in a musical. An avid theatergoer, Joseph has always enjoyed attending shows with his wife, Ashley. Now, he’s thrilled to be stepping onto the stage himself and sharing in the magic of theater from a whole new perspective.

Rob Gentry (Olin Britt) is excited to return to the Market stage, after a few years hiatus, supported by some new bionics. As Olin Britt, of the school board, Rob salutes his barbershop roots by singing bass in The Music Man quartet. Former highlights of his acting credits include Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Market Theatre), Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman (Market Theatre), Herr Schultz in Cabaret (Market Theatre), and originating the role of Chip (a Vietnam Vet), in Of Angels and Dragons (Anderson University).
Catherine Gray (Marian Paroo) is a sophomore nursing major at Anderson University. Catherine loves the theater and considers it one of her favorite places. She is no stranger to the stage having been in many productions including Cinderella, Our Town, Shrek, The Little Mermaid, Honk, Tuck Everlasting, and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. She wants to thank the Market Theatre for this opportunity to play Marian Paroo and her cast mates for all the work they’ve done to make this show so fun. Suzi Harmon (Ensemble) is a homeschooled senior. Her favorite past performances include Oliver! (Artful Dodger, FHP 2024), James and the Giant Peach Jr. (Ladahlord, Stagecraft 2023), Oliver! Jr. (Mr. Fagin, Stagecraft 2023), You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy, AU Repertory Theatre 2022), The Little Mermaid (Flounder, 24 Hour Musical 2021), and Willy Wonka (Mike Teavee, FHP 2019). In her free time, she enjoys woodcarving, lock sport, and Dungeons and Dragons.
Ryan Hewitt (Harold Hill) is the Artistic Director at Greenwood Community Theatre and is honored to perform with The Market Theatre Company again. Ryan has directed, choreographed, designed, and performed in numerous shows over the past 15 years. Some of his favorite shows include Elf (Buddy), Mary Poppins (Bert), Footloose (Ren McCormick), Beauty and The Beast (Gaston), Into The Woods (Director / Choreographer), Godspell (Director / Choreographer), The Addams Family (Director / Choreographer). He wants to thank his fantastic family, Jordan, Ren, and Keelyn, for their support and encouragement during this and every rehearsal process. Daddy loves you all so much and hopes he makes you proud!
Tom Holahan (Mayor Shinn) is retired and lives in Anderson with his wife Kim. He is the proud father of four daughters and Poppi to 3.9 grandchildren. He appeared most recently at Market Theatre in Shakespeare’s The Tempest in Wren Park. He has performed across the Upstate and was El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, and Mr. Bumble in Oliver! Tom is excited and very grateful to be playing Mayor Shinn in this wonderful production and part of this terrific cast.
Jude Hunt (Ensemble) is fourteen years old and an eighth-grade theater major at Southwood Academy of the Arts. He loves reading, acting, and playing piano. When Jude grows up, he would like to be an actor. He has been in Calhoun Academy of the Arts productions of The Little Mermaid, and Lion King (Simba). He most recently played Marlin in Project Challenge Playhouse’s production of Finding Nemo. This is his first Market Theatre production. He has loved this experience and all the friends he has made!
Caleb Jackson (Ewart Dunlop) is a native of North Carolina where he grew up singing and dancing. He began his acting experience in 2010 debuting as Rooster in DMR Adventures production of Annie. Since then, he has continued to sharpen his skills of performance starring in a number of musical theatre productions, headlining sold out self-produced concerts, and leading musical theatre camps. Acting credits include 101 Dalmatians Kids (DMR Adventures), Willy Wonka, Camp Rock, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Grease, and Songs for a New World (Union Street Theatre), Guys and Dolls and Chicago (Averett University), and finally made his Market Theatre debut as Lola/Simon in Kinky Boots last season. More Market Theatre credits include Jersey Boys, Hands On a Hardbody, and James and the Giant Peach.
Meena Karthik (Amaryllis) is 12 year old girl, who is a bit new to theater but she still loves it! She is a 6th grader at McCants Middle School. Meena currently takes theater at McCants and also auditioned and got into Southwood Academy of the Arts for theater. She has done a musical theater summer camp for Encanto at the Market Theater last summer. She did musical theater at ECDA and portrayed the character of scarecrow for “Ease on Down the Road” from The Wizard of Oz in the 2024 May Recital. She currently does Hip Hop at ECDA. Meena, along with her interest and love for musicals, also enjoys playing tennis and swimming in addition to her academics. She also plays piano as a beginner. Meena is extremely excited to be in The Music Man cast, especially playing the character Amaryllis! While this is the first big one for her, she works hard to follow on with others. Meena is grateful for her family and friends’ support in her profound interest in theater. She is counting down the days until the beginning of November! Elijah Lloyd (Ensemble) is happy to be apart of this production of The Music Man playing at his school, Southwood Academy of the Arts. Elijah made his debut with Market Theatre as Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh and Young Charlie in Kinky Boots. Elijah’s last production was with Electric City Playhouse as the Big Bad Wolf in Shrek the Musical Jr and as Leroy Herdman from The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Elijah also enjoys playing the trombone in Southwood’s award-winning band.
Graham Locke (Ensemble) is a 10-year-old 5th grader at North Pointe Elementary School. This is his second production with Market Theatre. Previously he played Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh at Market Theatre and Les in Stagecraft’s production of Newsies. In addition to acting, Graham sings in his school choir and has studied tap with Carolina Superstars. He also plays the electric guitar and was selected to perform in his school’s Talent Showcase for the past two years. Graham loves to play soccer and football with his friends on the playground and he has a love for chickens! One day he hopes to be a famous soccer player and act on Broadway before raising his family on a farm.
Jean O’Halloran (Ensemble)
Owen O’Halloran (Tommy Djilas) is a high school student based in Anderson. You may have seen him onstage at Market Theatre in Newsies, 13 The Musical as Evan Goldman or in The Tempest in Carolina Wren Park as Master Boatswain. He was in the 2024 school tour show Dragons Love Tacos, as well as Assistant Music Director for Hands on a Hardbody. When he’s not a part of a show, he can usually be found reading, listening to music, practicing an instrument (guitar, piano, saxophone, and ukulele), or taking long walks. He’d like to thank this incredible cast for all of their hard work and hopes you enjoy the show!
Wes Patten (Ensemble) is a 7th grader at Southwood Academy of the Arts in the theatre program. He fell in love with theatre after playing Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka at Showtime Theatre in Rock Hill, SC. This is his 3rd show with Market Theatre. Some of his past roles include Winnie the Pooh (Market Theatre), Baloo the Bear (Market Theatre), Fritz in The Nutcracker (Anderson Dance Alliance), and I Never Saw Another Butterfly and The Matchmaker at Project Challenge Playhouse. Joey Plyler (Marcellus Washburn) is excited to be in his first full production with Market Theatre! From Ruby, SC, Joey began acting while studying Communications and Music at Lander University, where he now works as Associate Director for Housing. He’s proud to play a part in one of his all-time favorite musicals! Joey recently played the roles of Wiesel & the Mayor in Market's 24 Hour production of Newsies; other past roles include Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing) & Angus Tuck (Tuck Everlasting) at Greenwood Community Theatre & Actor 9 (All Is Calm) at Centre Stage.
Aaden Poore (Ensemble) is a 5th grade student who loves to read and sing. He has been involved in several musical performances at his elementary school over the past few years. He was selected to be a member of Create Music camp this summer in the school district. He loved playing Rabbit in Market Theatre's 2023 production of Winnie the Pooh. Since then Aaden has participated in several Market Theatre camps. His current favorite musicals to watch are the Spongebob Musical and Dogman the Musical.
Will Purcell (Oliver Hix) is no stranger to the stage and is so excited to make his official Market Theatre debut in The Music Man. Will has been a part of our annual 24 Hour musical for three years and was the “Crazy Bread Award” recipient this year for Newsies. Will spends his free time on stage at Greenwood Community Theatre. Some of his favorite productions he has been a part of include R&H Cinderella (Lionel), Elf the Musical (Chadwick), and most recently The Wizard of Oz this past summer (Tinman). Will would like to say a huge thank you to his parents for always being his biggest supporters, all his theatre family at GCT, and the Market Theatre family for welcoming him with open arms. Will hopes everyone enjoys our production of The Music Man!
Shea Ropp (Ensemble) has always had a love for theater and has managed to pass that love on to her nine children! Since 2018, she has been a proud parent, chauffeur, producer, actor, and stage manager for various shows and theaters. Most recently, she was in Once Upon a Mattress at Clemson Little Theatre. A HUGE thank you to her husband, Eric, for letting her pursue this passion and "holding down the fort" at home.
Samantha Rose (Ensemble) Samantha Rose is 11 years old. Samantha goes to the Southwood Academy of the Arts. She has enjoyed playing an ensemble role in ELF the Musical Jr and being part of Encanto summer camp. Samantha wants to thank her family, cast, and crew of The Music Man. Samantha is super excited how this show has turned out!
Constance Seemuller (Ensemble) is thrilled to be taking the Market Theatre stage again after her debut this summer in James and the Giant Peach. She “cut her dramatic teeth” doing yearly productions while a student at Calhoun Academy of the Arts. Earlier in 2024 she appeared as Captain Robert Falcon Scott in Southwood Academy of the Arts’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher. This fall Constance started her second year at Southwood as a student in the theatre department. When not studying or rehearsing, she enjoys reading fiction, talking with friends, and snuggling with her cats. Connie enjoys learning all she can about Greek and Roman mythology, historical epidemics, and medical malpractice. She has loved many Market productions; absolute favorites include Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys, and Rock of Ages. Constance’s next stage appearance will be in February 2025, in A5’s production of Singing in the Rain.
Evie Trent (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in The Music Man as a part of the teen ensemble. She is a 13-year-old 8th grader at Southwood Academy of the Arts, Theatre department. She previously performed as Smee in Southwood's Peter and the Starcatcher, Lavender in Market Theatre's Matilda, Miss Medda Larkin in Stagecraft’s Newsies, ensemble in Market Theatre's James and the Giant Peach, and Phillip Johnny Bob in Market Theatre’s Junie B Jones: Jingle Bells Batman Smells, with the addition of many others and more to come. Evie enjoys writing and most anything to do with theatre. She'd like to thank all who have supported her through her acting experiences. Enjoy the show!
Phil Turner (Charlie Cowell) This is Phil Turner’s second time starring in The Music Man. The play was Phil’s introduction to community theater with Julian Wiles’s Young Charleston Theater Company at the historic Dock Street Theater in Charleston. For the next few years, Phil took Wiles’s classes and starred in YCTC productions until he moved to Sumter where he met his high school sweetheart, Julie, at Sumter Little Theater. Today, Julie calls him the “stay-at-home dog-dad” to their Old English Sheepdog, Mabel (and six human children). He’s overjoyed to be starring in The Music Man alongside his youngest human child, Judah. When he’s not parenting Mabel or Judah, he’s often in an online meeting as a Technical Consultant for Keysight Technologies.
Judah Turner (Winthrop Paroo) The Music Man is Judah Turner’s second musical. In the Spring, he starred in the titular role of the Easley Foothills Playhouse production of Oliver! He’s a member of the school chorus at Clemson Elementary School and the youngest of six siblings. This year, he’s been selected for the Honor Choir.
Emily Weidenhammer (Ensemble) is excited to take the stage for the second time with Market Theatre - her first role was Kaa in The Jungle Book Jr. A sixth grader at McCants Middle School, Emily has also appeared in Elf Jr. (Project Challenge Playhouse), Jingle Bell Jukebox (North Pointe Elementary), and Triple-Threat (The Clemson Little Theatre). When she’s not singing and dancing, you can find her playing pickleball, camping, or just hanging out with her friends!
Paige Whitman (Alma Hix) is excited to be onstage in one of her favorite musicals! It’s been so much fun bringing The Music Man to life with a fantastic group of people. When she’s not gossiping onstage, Paige is a Special Education Assistant at Midway Elementary. Some past favorite shows include Hands on a Hardbody (Market), Tuck Everlasting (CLT), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Market), and Sweeney Todd (ECP). Thanks to the amazing crew and to Southwood for letting us borrow their auditorium! Enjoy the show!
Blaire Williams (Ensemble) is a 7th grader at McCants Middle School. She is excited to return to the Market Theatre stage! Her past credits include The Matchmaker, Finding Nemo Jr, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, The Addams Family, Honk, Beauty and the Beast at Project Challenge Playhouse, as well as James in the Giant Peach, Matilda, Junie B Jones (Jingle Bells Batman Smells), and Annie at the Market Theatre. Her dream opportunity would be to play one of the Queens in Six the Musical! When Blaire is not busy acting, she also enjoys dancing and is on the McCants Middle Cheerleading squad! She has had the best time working with this cast and is thankful for the friendships she has made! Enjoy the show!!
Andrew Wilson (Jacey Squires) is happy to be back performing in the upstate after 14 years! He recently moved back to the upstate from Denver, Colorado where he performed in professional productions. He has performed professionally along the East and West coasts! You will also be able to watch him in the spring at Centre Stage in Greenville. Some of his favorite past credits include Chip in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Vintage Theatre, Aurora, CO), All Shook Up (Townhall Arts Center, Littleton, CO), Turtle Talk with Crush (Dinseyland, CA), Touchstone in As You Like It (Southern California Shakespeare Festival), Billis in South Pacific (West Virginia Public Theatre), Jinx in Forever Plaid (Tidewater Stage). Thomas Cawood (Lighting Designer) is a theatrical design major at SCSA. He enjoys reading, baking, and spreadsheet making. His recent projects include designing for The Sound of Music at Anderson University and The Rocky Horror Show at Market. Here’s his portfolio!
Dalton Cole (Technical Director) Dalton offers his skills as scenic designer, master carpenter, and technical director to all of The Market’s productions. Dalton most recently performed on stage as Nick Massi in Jersey Boys (Market), Gomez in The Addams Family (Market), and Smudge in Forever Plaid and Plaid Tidings (Mill Town Players). He made his directorial debut in 2017 with It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at The Market, and recently directed The Market's Hands on a Hardbody, Bonnie & Clyde, The Great Gatsby, and Mamma Mia! in the park. He enjoys woodworking and tinkering with cars, and he loves his wife and all three of his daughters.
Kelsey Crews (Costume Designer) Kelsey is a recent graduate from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. When she is not on stage, she has a big passion for clothing and making people feel the most confident in what they wear. She has experience working in fashion house environments, cultivating fashion shows, and costume designing. She has costume-designed shows all over the Upstate including Women of Lockerbie (South Carolina School of the Arts), Steel Magnolias (Mill Town Players), and her most recent projects have been Rent, Kinky Boots, and Jersey Boys at Market Theatre. She would have never imagined all of that hard work translating into a full season of shows, but she is so excited to be on board with the Market Team as the Resident Costume Designer for the 2023-2024 season. When she is not in rehearsals or working with garments, she spends most of her time working as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Simply Southern Chiropractic Center. In her free time, she is with her dog, Auggie, boyfriend, Drake, and soulmate, her cat, Willa. She finds value in the expression of life through theatre and the magic of storytelling that theatre brings. She additionally has always deemed clothing to be the first impression of life and expression of self. To have the opportunity to combine the two and make magic on stage is something she never wants to take for granted, and she hopes you see that through each design. She is a firm believer that Arts are for Everyone and hopes to enhance the arts by making each performer feel proud of the body they exist in. This show has been a pivotal part of her design career and she will always remember this cast and this show with fond memories.
Alison Duffy (Stage Manager/Sound Operator) is extremely excited to be a part of The Music Man at Market Theatre! She is a graduate from the South Carolina School of the Arts, obtaining a B.A. in Theatre Directing. There, she has had the opportunity to direct works such as The Outsiders and The Last Five Years. Recent projects in the Upstate have been directing Dragons Love Tacos and music directing Hands on a Hardbody. Alison is so thankful for the opportunity to share the classes story with this audience and to work with such amazing artists for The Music Man!
Mary Haley Thompson (Choreographer) is excited to be back on Market's production team after helping choreograph previous shows such as Rock of Ages, Kinky Boots, Spelling Bee, and 24 Hour Musical's Newsies! She also loves working with Greenwood Community Theatre where she has choreographed shows such as Matilda and Little Shop of Horrors. When she’s not dancing, Mary Haley works for the City of Anderson, serves as Chair of the Market Theatre Board of Directors, and enjoys lots of quality time with her cats. She wants to thank dancing superstars Victoria, Will, and Ryan for their help with the choreography of this show!
Drew Kenyon (Associate Director) has been involved in Upstate SC theatre, both on and off stage, for the better part of his life. He has been with the Market since their second season and has loved it ever since! Shakespearean studies and directing are truly his passions, as well as teaching and sharing those passions with others. You may have also seen his work in shows such as Jersey Boys (Frankie Valli), Next to Normal (Henry), and The Tempest (Director). In addition to working at the Market, Drew also heads the outdoor Shakespeare program at Mauldin Cultural Center in Mauldin, SC. Drew has a B.A. in Theatre from Anderson University and is now a middle and high school theatre educator at High Point Academy in Spartanburg, SC. He is married to our Contributing Photographer, Kelly Crittendon (whom he met and proposed to at the Market), and they live with their cute and furry dachshund roommate, Pippin! Drew is so excited that he has found family at Market Theatre and cannot wait to see where this goes in the future.
Chris Liles (Assistant Stage Manager/Sound Operator) Chris has previously appeared on the Market stage as Benny Perkins in Hands on a Hardbody, Bob Crewe in Jersey Boys, Richard Bailey in Kinky Boots, Ron Miller in A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screen Play about the Death of Walt Disney, and was one of the players for the 2023 School Tour of Pinocchio. When not at Market Theatre, Chris is probably reading in a coffee shop somewhere. He is grateful to his family for their patience and understanding during late-night rehearsals.
Emily Mitchell (Box Office/Spot Op) Emily has been with the Market Theater company for the past two years. With a degree in Media Communication from Lander University, she recently served as one of the stage managers for the Rocky Horror Show. She also stage-managed Jungle Book Jr at the beginning of the year. Some other work that Emily has done includes being the production assistant for the 24 Hour Musical the past two years, spot operator for outdoor shows such as Tempest, Rock of Ages, and James and the Giant Peach. She also was part of the running crew for shows such as She Kills Monsters.
Alexis Morehead (Scenic Painter) As Scenic Artist for the theatre, she has been responsible for bringing the world of the musical to life through the medium of paint, water, and a dash of creativity. Can you believe the rivets are just buttons? She wants to thank the team at Market, her family, and God for helping her keep to the deadlines. She has had fun painting for this one and hopes you'll enjoy it as well.
Noah Taylor (Director) Noah holds a Master of Arts in Theatre from Regent University as well as a BA in both Graphic Design/Theatre from the SC School of the Arts at Anderson University. He formerly served three years as the Community Theatre Chair for the SC Theatre Association and two years on staff with the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC). In addition to working for Market Theatre, he also works at Ludus, a ticketing platform with marketing and fundraising built in. Noah was selected as one of the Anderson’s 20 Under 40 rising community leaders. As a high school student, Noah fell in love with the stage after having the opportunity to play Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit. Following a ten-year break from acting, he recently returned to the stage as Chip in Spelling Bee and in his all-time dream role, Mark Cohen, in Market’s landmark production of RENT. He enjoys directing, producing, and marketing for the theatre industry. Some favorite directing credits include Into the Woods (in Carolina Wren Park), Next to Normal, Sweeney Todd, Godspell, Almost Maine, The Fantasticks, Matilda, Shrek the Musical, and four 24 Hour Musicals. He is married to Market co-founder Carlie and they have a six-year-old son, Elias.
Drew Whitley (Associate Producer) Drew has performed in, directed, and produced nearly 100 productions at theaters across the Upstate including Market Theatre, Warehouse Theatre, Mill Town Players, Greenville Theatre, Centre Stage, and Clemson University. At Market, he has directed a number of shows including Jersey Boys and The Rocky Horror Show, and award-winning productions of Every Brilliant Thing, The 39 Steps, and Death of a Salesman, as well as co-directed the outdoor smashes Shrek and Rock of Ages with Artistic Director Noah Taylor. He holds two bachelor's degrees from Clemson University, one in Secondary Education and one in English Literature, as well as a minor in Theatre. All the gratitude and love to Rosie, Mom, & Dad.
