Join a Market Theatre volunteer committee! This is a way to get involved in the day to day operations and programs at Market Theatre, completely separate from being in a show, on the board, or on staff. Committee volunteers make things happen and make our organization stronger. Not only do they get to share their ideas and suggestions, but hey get to take action!

No Market experience is required, but if you've been involved in any way in the past (even just attending a show!), tell us about it and why this made you want to be a part of our committees.

Committee Selection

Front of House: Ushering, house managing, customer service, possibly learning box office software to assist/fill in; contributing ideas to house management policies and procedures

24 Hour Musical: Planning in advance, including fundraising, securing food/in-kind donors, possibly reviewing applications to select a charity partner; being present during the event to help with oversight, managing guests at the show, distributing meals, etc.

Gala Planning: contributing to ideas for the premier Arts for All Gala on October 6 at the Bleckley Station; managing guest lists, performances, catering, ticketing; securing and managing volunteers; creating the overall vision for the event; decorating; securing sponsors; attending and managing the event on-site
