Carlie Taylor (“Improv Party” for kids) graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and later with a Master of Arts in Education. She is the elementary drama teacher at Calhoun Academy of the Arts where she has directed school productions of The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. As one of the founders of Market Theatre, she works to nurture young artists and grow youth programming like classes, summer camps, and youth productions. She has worked with children for over 10 years at local theatres across the Upstate. She enjoys directing and choreographing, and (on the rare occasion) performing. Carlie is married to Market Executive Artistic Director Noah, and together they share a son Elias.
